Let it Rain!

As we suffer this love insane;
As we clutch our hands in vain;

Let us sing
That lullaby again.
Let us together
Soothe the pain.

Once again…
Let it rain!
Let it rain.

As we restrain
Our heartfelt downpour,
Not knowing
If we’ll ever see us again,

Oh!
Let it rain!
Let it rain.

As we bid goodbye,
Nothing more to say
Only, a deep sigh.
Broken heart’s
Sudden disdain;

Oh Please!
Let it rain!
Let it rain.

For one final time
Before we depart this terrain:
Let it rain.

For one final time
Under this Haven:
Let our love reign.

Let it reign.
Let it rain!

I Would!

If you wrote me love notes,
Scribed on withered autumn leaves,
I would drape them over
As a blanket would cover my grieves.
For when the cold winter comes,
The red and yellow and the golden brown leaves
Will keep me warm, as warm can be.

And when the leaves would dance to your melody,
I would then, fall in love with thee.

If you found the choicest words
And wrote me a love song
Sung so merrily, echoing by the stars,
Carried by the soft breeze,
Ah, this tune to which the snowflakes appease!
As the moonbeams cascade,
A musical serenade-

My love, I would then sing unto you,
My heart would then, beat solely for you.

If you painted your endless love for me,
At the exact spot where,
The sunrays heave their last breath:
A picture of your lips drawing to mine
Using a brush so light and fine.
Drawing my arms around your waist,
Erasing all doubts in haste,
Leaving behind a portrait so chaste.

Standing on that picturesque dew
I would then, promise to spend my life with you.

The Ballerina

The rhythm Inside
The Ballerina
Tiptoed by;
Touching the earth...
Reaching for the sky .

Glorious feet:
Nimble;
Heartbeat:
Symmetrical.
Allowing her spirit
To soar;
Forgetting
The hardships galore.

Remembering-
The inner sides of passion
With no wall or separation
Considering-
The beginning of endings
The ending of beginnings

Defying
Limitations;
Exposing
Passionate variations.
The lost dyme
Out of breath...
Made a new relation
With space and time

At that instant!Everything moved
With the flow...
Lost in the rhythm;
Suffering from
The Vertigo.

And I
Could see…
She danced...
To set free.

Unfaithful

Atop a bending hill
As I drive slow,
The icy gale brings back the memories
And the tears begin to flow.

The gloomy clouds reminiscent
Of the mascara you wore.
A veil of lies,
Your dreamy eyes long bore.

Outside,
A flash of lightning-
A thunderous brilliance.
Inside,
If only I could too-
Break my silence.

Arms outstretched
I liberate my fears
I let the rain hit my face,
Blend with my tears.

I stand there
Drenched.
The fire within me
Quenched.

For yours is not the fault,
If shattered lie the bonds of faith.

It’s harder still
To keep faith in faith

Is it you or I
They call

Unfaithful?

The Paradoxes of Love

 THE UNION

The young birds flutter in the morning sky.
Humming gloriously, as they fly by.

The sweet fragrance of the flowers
Blend with yours;
The grace of your smile deep
I see in many a child asleep.

The Garden is in good health
And the spring is alive
Because of you;
The flowers dare not fade
In front of you.

The shooting star
Grants me a wish
And, silently, I wish…

…for the eternal life
Of the little bud wet
That dwells in your heart;
The scent of which
Comes from your sweat.

THE SEPARATION

The young birds flutter in the morning sky
A tree was flattened nearby.

The pledge of love
Now lies broken;
The color of the flower
Now has softened.

The cloud now not yields
Rain over the parched fields.

You say you are happy
After separation?
The art of lying evades you still
O loved one!

You say you will fight the world
Alone?
You know you only manage
But a child’s tone!

A branch of rose, your memory
Sways as the breeze blows.
Alas! Even my wounds are covered
With the flowers that the spring chose.

From my memory
I plead you to leave
But you have become a habit
And does a habit ever leave?

For the roads of separation
To great depths diverse
The ones who dared to traverse
Are the ones who now lie submersed.

The 7 Wonders

The amorous advances
Bewitching.
My Seductress
Anointing me with sparkling stardust.
I See…

Love’s unsung tessitura
A Babel of voices
Deep, Yet sensuous
With bated breath
I Hear…

Of the palpable fragrance
Your chocolate hair drips
Of implacable sweetness
In your salted lips.
I Speak…

Immersed in illusionary
Yet sensate, world
The moonlit dance
Beating to the rhythm of the tide
I Imagine…

Betokening
All passions,
All delights,
Your Heart Romancing
I Touch…

Incited by your maneuvers
Alluring, beguiling
The selfless love
Replenishing my soul
I Feel…

Amalgamating our sprits
Into unison.
At your behest,
Unadulterated
I Love.

Blissful Malady

Fail,
And you shall
Begin,
Again.
Far more Intellectually.

Hate,
And you shall
Be stingy,
To hate.
For it makes up our blood, our sleep, our love.

Destroy,
And you shall preserve
Time;
For its devouring hand
Destroys all.

Struggle
And you shall
Dare,
To win;
For you dared to struggle.

Fear,
For you hath
Right;
For they that hath wrong-
Can only hope.
