Ah, so enchanting, this walk of life!

The graceful streams
The profound vales
The blooming flowers
And the rush of sudden gale!

Ah, so fine, this bottle of wine!

An ode to love
Unconditional.
Lust, aspiration, dedication
Hand in glove.

Ah, so desolate, this barren heart!

Love-torn
This inconsolable heart
Rhymes my emotion
Of despair the spirit hath borne.

Ah, so mesmerizing, this spiritual vent!

The hymns of god
The holy fire
A connecting rod
Of sanity, faith, desire.

Ah, so dependable, this doggerel!

Trials, tribulations, unrealized dreams
In ecstasy or moments of glee
A friend for life
This speaking tree.
